Hexagrammos otakii Eggs | Fat Greenling
This is a single 3mm egg of a Hexagrammos otakii greenling. It was part of a large cluster of relatively fresh eggs being watched over by an attending male. The embryo has just started to take form inside the illuminated egg and the one adjacent. Photographed in Hokkaido, Japan.
